Amwell Receives Letter of Intent from Department of Veterans Affairs to Help Power its Digital Health Infrastructure
Amwell announced that the Department of Veterans Affairs has declared its intent to deploy Amwell's virtual health platform across the VA enterprise to modernize its digital health infrastructure and serve over nine million Veteran beneficiaries. The Letter of Intent follows a comprehensive VA evaluation that determined Amwell's platform aligns with the Department's strategic objectives, particularly in scalable video consultations, interoperability, cybersecurity compliance, and integrated care delivery. However, the Letter of Intent is non-binding and any formal agreement is contingent upon contract negotiation and federal procurement requirements.
