    Fairfax Announces Completion of Kennedy Wilson Take-Private Transaction

    Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited has completed its acquisition of Kennedy Wilson Holdings, Inc. for US$10.90 per share in cash. The deal was structured as a consortium-led take-private transaction with William McMorrow and other senior Kennedy Wilson executives retaining operational control while Fairfax holds the majority economic interest. A US$1.3 billion term loan facility was also secured to support the transaction.
